Michigan Women's Leadership Report

Inforum’s Michigan Women’s Leadership Report is a biennial snapshot on the status of women at the highest levels of governance and leadership in Michigan’s public companies.

The 2024 Reportis a collaborative initiative between Inforum and the Mike Ilitch School of Business at Wayne State University. It follows 11 previous reports produced biennially since 2003 that track the advancement of gender diversity in the boardrooms and C-suites of the Michigan companies ranked by revenue and market capitalization.

Black Women on Boards

Black women are being left out of U.S. corporate governance, and America’s companies are missing out as a result.

This report’s purpose is to document trends in Black women’s representation on corporate boards in Michigan and nationally. Although increased visibility has resulted in some progress, there is more that can and should be done.
